ABOUT ABET HAITI

ABET Aksyon pou Byen èt Timoun
Action for the Well-being of Children

ABET is a non-profit organization created in June 2019 by a group of individuals to support the children and youth of the La Gonâve district. This organization was established because many children living on the island do not have access to education and health services, nor do they receive the necessary support for their development. Therefore, ABET aims to work continuously and tirelessly in the field of child protection, prioritizing Education, Health, and Environment.

Mission: Supporting the children of La Gonâve Island and working to maintain their health, psychological balance, and well-being through educational, recreational, and therapeutic programs.

Vision: To be a leading institution in child protection in Haiti. Establish viable partnerships with civil society actors and competent authorities to boost efforts for the well-being of children, particularly in health, education, and environmental protection. Ultimately, mobilize human, material, and financial resources to support at least 75% of the children of La Gonâve.
